Los Angeles Dodgers seek pitching reinforcement as Glasnow starts rehab and trade talks swirl

Veteran right‑hander Tyler Glasnow, who has been on the injured list since May with back spasms, will begin a minor‑league rehabilitation assignment on Aug. 4. The Dodgers hope his return will bolster a rotation that also lacks Shohei Ohtani, who remains sidelined with a knee issue, and Blake Snell, who is still recovering from limited action.

With the trade deadline looming, Los Angeles has been linked to Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal as a potential acquisition.
