Los Angeles family seeks justice after fatal motorcyclist hit-and-run

The family of Kenli Black, a 33-year-old mental health worker at Brain Health USA, is seeking justice following a fatal hit-and-run accident in downtown Los Angeles. On July 12, Black was traveling to provide aid to someone when his motorcycle was sidewiped near Alameda Street.

Black sustained severe head injuries and remained in the hospital for six days before his mother made the decision to remove life support. While the driver involved was apprehended by police and released on bail, the family is calling for criminal prosecution to ensure the individual serves time.
