Los Angeles father detained after fatally shooting two young sons

A father fatally shot his two young sons in broad daylight in Los Angeles before attempting to take his own life. The incident occurred on October 12 in the Pico-Union area of Koreatown.

Adolfo Gramajo, 35, has been detained with bail set at $4 million. The victims were identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as 11-year-old Osmani Gramajo Bonilla and 4-year-old Jimmy Gramajo Bonilla. Osmani died from a gunshot wound to the head, while Jimmy sustained a close-range gunshot wound to the head.

According to family members, Gramajo was on a custody visit and had informed the children's mother that he intended to take the boys out for dinner. The Los Angeles Police Department is continuing its investigation, and no motive has been disclosed.
