Los Angeles FC fires head coach Marc Dos Santos

Los Angeles FC has announced the dismissal of head coach Marc Dos Santos. The decision comes late in his first season at the helm, following a period of inconsistent performance and recent struggles.

Under Dos Santos, the team has won only one of its last nine matches across all competitions. Despite a roster featuring players such as Son Heung-min and Denis Bouanga, the club currently sits sixth in the Western Conference with a record of 11 wins, eight draws, and nine losses. The club's recent form includes a 1-0 loss to FC Dallas and an early exit from the Leagues Cup.

John Thorrington, LAFC's president of soccer operations, expressed gratitude for Dos Santos's long-term contributions to the club, noting his previous roles as an assistant coach. The club has not yet named an interim or permanent replacement but stated it will announce a coaching plan soon.
