Los Angeles Kings announce 11 roster cuts ahead of preseason finale

The Los Angeles Kings have announced 11 roster cuts as they prepare for their final preseason game, narrowing their training camp roster to 29 players.

Five players—forwards Angus Booth, Aatu Jamsen, and Koehn Ziemmer, and defensemen Kirill Kirsanov and Jared Woolley—were assigned directly to the Ontario Reign. An additional five players, including forwards Martin Chromiak, Cole Guttman, Lane Pederson, and Francesco Pinelli, and defenseman Joe Hicketts, were placed on waivers for the purpose of AHL assignment. Jan Jenik and Jakub Dvorak have been placed on the injured non-roster list, while Liam Lefebvre was re-assigned to the QMJHL's Cape Breton.

The remaining 29-player camp roster includes 17 forwards, nine defensemen, and three goaltenders. Notable players currently managing health or availability issues include Mats Zuccarello, who is participating in non-contact practice, and Corey Perry, who is away from the team for personal reasons. Kevin Fiala and Otto Salin also remain sidelined with injuries.
