Los Angeles Lakers debut Collin Sexton amid injury concerns

Collin Sexton made his Los Angeles Lakers debut during a victory over the L.A. Clippers after missing preseason and the season opener due to a right soleus strain. Playing under a 16-minute restriction, Sexton recorded five points, two assists, and three steals. Teammates Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler praised his defensive tenacity and energy.

Despite Sexton's return, the Lakers face roster challenges. Veteran forward Jake LaRavia has been ruled out for the Clippers game due to a right ankle sprain, following earlier absences by Adou Thiero and Cameron Carr. The Clippers also entered the matchup shorthanded, missing several players including Brandon Ingram, Jordan Miller, and Bradley Beal.
