Los Angeles Lakers name BMO exclusive official bank
The Los Angeles Lakers have entered into a long-term partnership with BMO, designating the financial institution as the franchise’s exclusive official bank. Beginning with the upcoming NBA season, the agreement will integrate BMO into various high-visibility areas, including training camp, courtside experiences, and community outreach programs throughout Southern California.
As part of the deal, BMO will serve as the presenting partner for the Lakers Training Camp, with its branding appearing on the team’s newly designed practice jerseys. Lon Rosen, the Lakers’ president and chief business officer, noted that the partnership represents a paradigm shift in how the franchise engages with brands to create impactful programs for fans.
Aron Levine, president of BMO U.S., stated that the collaboration reflects the bank’s long-term investment in the Southern California growth market and its goal to support local communities and client financial progress.
