Los Angeles Lakers sign Arthur Kaluma to two-way contract, waive Peter Suder

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Arthur Kaluma to a two‑way contract for the 2026‑27 season after a breakout performance in the NBA Summer League. Kaluma, an undrafted free agent, averaged 18.6 points per game in Las Vegas, shooting 60.9% from the field and 50% from three‑point range, and will split his time between the NBA roster and the club’s G League affiliate. He joins existing two‑way players Chris Mañón and AK Okereke and will wear No. 47.

To create the roster spot, the Lakers waived rookie guard Peter Suder, who had been on a two‑way deal after going undrafted. Suder posted modest Summer League numbers (5.3 points per game on 33.3% shooting) and is expected to explore opportunities elsewhere.
