The Los Angeles Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints 34-0 in a preseason matchup at SoFi Stadium, leaving the Saints with a 0-2 preseason record. The Saints' offense struggled, totaling only 293 yards and committing three turnovers alongside 12 penalties.

Quarterback Zach Wilson completed 6-of-12 passes for 55 yards and an interception in the first half. Spencer Rattler took over in the second half, completing 14-of-23 passes for 141 yards, but his red-zone interception was returned 100 yards by Rams safety Alex Cook for a touchdown.

On the opposing side, Rams quarterback Stetson Bennett threw for 181 yards and recorded two rushing touchdowns. Following the loss, former Saints Pro Bowler Terron Armstead criticized the performance on social media, describing the game as “BAD bad” and stating that the team should not make excuses regardless of it being a preseason game.
