NFL trade deadline approaches as teams evaluate roster needs

As the NFL trade deadline on November 10 nears, several teams are assessing critical roster gaps. The Los Angeles Rams face a significant need for wide receiver depth, particularly a WR3, to support their offense while waiting for Davante Adams to return from injured reserve. Additionally, the Rams continue to manage the impact of Myles Garrett’s extended absence on injured reserve.

In the NFC North, the Detroit Lions are reportedly active in the market. Head coach Dan Campbell stated that general manager Brad Holmes and his staff are engaged in daily, ongoing evaluations of potential trades to bolster the team, specifically to address concerns in the cornerback position.

The Houston Texans are also looking to improve their roster, with analysts identifying the running back position as a primary area for potential acquisition following injuries and performance concerns. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have already made a major move by acquiring defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans.
