Los Angeles woman sues city over 2025 protest projectile injuries

A woman identified as Joyti Chand filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court on July 10, 2025, claiming she was struck by eleven less‑lethal kinetic projectiles during an immigration demonstration on June 8, 2025.
