Los Arrayanes inaugurates new rural road infrastructure
The community of Los Arrayanes in the municipality of Córdoba has inaugurated a new 'placa huella' (reinforced concrete road) in the El Progreso neighborhood. This infrastructure project aims to improve mobility and development within the rural sector.
The project was a collaborative effort involving the Municipal Administration of Córdoba, led by Mayor Edwin Cerón, the National Learning Service (SENA), the Los Arrayanes Community Action Board, and local residents. The new road is designed to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and vehicles, providing safer access for families and more efficient transportation for agricultural products.
As part of the initiative, SENA utilized its 'CampeSENA' strategy, allowing apprentices to gain practical construction experience in a real-world setting. William Narváez, subdirector of the South Colombian Center for International Logistics at SENA, noted that the model aims to strengthen community capacities through practical training while delivering concrete social solutions.
