Los Barrios reinforces Local Police with 13 new officers

Thirteen new officers have joined the Local Police force in Los Barrios following a formal induction ceremony on September 4, 2026. The expansion is part of a multi-year process to reinforce and renew the municipal workforce.

Mayor Miguel Alconchel and local officials presided over the ceremony, noting that the additional personnel will improve service organization, crime prevention, and response capacity to meet citizen demands. The reinforcement aims to strengthen daily operations and enhance public safety and coexistence within the municipality.
