Los Cabos authorities launch road and drainage repair operations

The Los Cabos municipal government has launched an intensive infrastructure maintenance operation to address damage caused by recent rains and general road deterioration. Under the direction of municipal leadership, public works crews have intensified pothole repair efforts on the Transpeninsular Highway, specifically on the stretch connecting Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.

In addition to road repairs, authorities are deploying heavy machinery and personnel to rehabilitate dirt roads and clear drainage systems. Key actions include desilting and cleaning the Salto Seco stream to prevent debris from reaching beach areas during future rainfall. Work is also being carried out on Avenida Tecnológico in the Guaymitas neighborhood of San José del Cabo to manage accumulated material and improve mobility.
