Los Cabos gearing up for 2026 tennis anniversary and luxury hotel openings

The tenth edition of the Los Cabos Open tennis tournament will be held from July 25 to August 1, 2026, at the Cabo Sports Complex. Qualifying matches on July 25‑26 will be open to the public free of charge, followed by the main draw beginning July 27. Municipal officials said the event aims to elevate the city’s international profile, promote sport tourism and generate economic benefits for the region.

During the same period, Los Cabos is seeing a wave of luxury hospitality projects. Aman’s first Mexican property, Amanvari, is slated to open in East Cape in August 2026. The St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira and the Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa – the brand’s first all‑inclusive hotel worldwide – are expected to launch later in the year, featuring the new Oleada Golf Links designed by Ernie Els. Recent openings such as Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol and planned projects like Conrad, Delano and SIRO Palmilla reflect a broader strategy to attract high‑net‑worth travelers.
