Los Cabos launches cultural and environmental workshops

The Los Cabos municipal government has launched several community initiatives in Cabo San Lucas focused on cultural preservation and environmental sustainability.

A pilot workshop titled ‘Ruta Cultural Histórica Cabo San Lucas’ has been implemented to strengthen local identity and improve the quality of tourism services. The program aims to provide service providers with updated knowledge regarding the history, culture, and development of the area, potentially serving as official training for guides under federal regulations.

Simultaneously, local authorities have conducted glass recycling workshops for artisans. This initiative teaches techniques to transform discarded glass bottles into commercial products such as vases and decorative pieces. The program seeks to promote environmental awareness and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills by encouraging the reuse of materials.
