Los Cabos officials promote women's participation in Altares en el Mar festival

Officials in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, are working to integrate women's participation and sports into the upcoming “Altares en el Mar” nautical festival.

Araceli García Rico of the Los Cabos Municipal Institute for Women, along with economic development and administration directors, met with Mexican artistic swimming medalist Pamela Toscano Millán to discuss collaborative proposals. The initiative aims to link regional traditions and identity with sports and culture, specifically focusing on promoting the rights and public roles of women in entrepreneurship, sports, and public life.
