Los Cabos prepares for 2026 cultural and film festivals

Los Cabos is preparing for several major cultural events in 2026. The municipal government has established a coordination committee to organize the Traditional Fiestas of Cabo San Lucas. The program will include artistic, cultural, and sporting activities, such as the Copa Presidente fishing tournament scheduled for October 31 and November 1, traditional horse parades, and historical preservation efforts in collaboration with the Yenecamú civil association.

Additionally, the 14th edition of the Los Cabos International Film and Creativity Festival is set to take place from December 9 to 13, 2026. Operating under the theme ‘Beyond The Screen’, the festival aims to connect the film industry with other creative sectors. The event will be hosted across various locations in Los Cabos and seeks to position Baja California Sur as a hub for developing audiovisual talent rather than just a filming destination.
