Los Cabos to build new Mental Health Unit in Cabo San Lucas

The Los Cabos municipal government has announced plans to construct a new Mental Health Unit in Cabo San Lucas. The 2,000-square-meter facility will be located in the Altamira neighborhood and is designed to provide specialized medical services to the local population.

The project aims to centralize preventive health services, specialized treatments, and inpatient care. The infrastructure will include crisis intervention modules, stabilization areas, and hospitalization zones for patients requiring continuous medical supervision. Additionally, the complex will feature multidisciplinary clinics for psychiatry, psychology, nutrition, and dentistry, along with administrative and community spaces.
