Loïs Openda eyed by Lyon, Lens and Rennes as Juventus looks to sell

Belgian forward Loïs Openda, currently under contract with Juventus until 2030, has attracted interest from several Ligue 1 clubs. Olympique Lyonnais, RC Lens and Stade Rennes are reported to be the leading French suitors, each hoping the striker‑who thrived at Lens in the 2022‑23 season‑can boost their chances in the upcoming Champions League campaign.

Juventus is reportedly willing to negotiate a permanent transfer for a fee around €30 million, or possibly a loan, as the club seeks liquidity to fund a potential bid for PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani. English Championship side Coventry City is also linked to the deal, expanding the pool of interested teams.

The move would mark Openda’s return to French football after a difficult season in Serie A, where he struggled to replicate his earlier form.
