Los Pumas appoint Mario Ledesma and Shaun Edwards to coaching staff

Mario Ledesma and Shaun Edwards have joined the coaching staff of the Argentine national rugby team, Los Pumas. The appointments are set to last until the conclusion of the Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Ledesma, who previously served as head coach of Los Pumas from 2018 to 2022, will focus on forwards. Edwards joins the staff as a defense coach following a seven-year tenure with the French national team, where he secured multiple Six Nations titles.

Head coach Felipe Contepomi stated that the new additions bring significant international experience to help the team prepare for upcoming competitions, including the Nations Championship in Europe this November.
