The Argentine rugby union side, Los Pumas, held its first training session of the week in Santiago del Estero as they prepare for the upcoming test against England at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades. Players Pedro “Sopa” Delgado and Nicolás Roger, along with captain Julián Montoya and coach Felipe Contepomi, also visited the local Quimsa sports association for an institutional meeting.

The week’s program, organized by the Unión Argentina de Rugby and the provincial union, includes daily training sessions for senior and age‑grade squads, scrum workshops for coaches and players, referee development sessions, and a coaching clinic for club officials. The schedule runs from Monday, 13 September, through Friday, 17 September, culminating in the match against England on Saturday.
