Los Realejos opens inclusive DiverCampus camp; University of León rolls out summer courses

The municipality of Los Realejos in Tenerife has opened pre‑registration for the fourth edition of its ‘DiverCampus’ inclusive summer camp. The free programme offers 50 places – 35 for children and young people with disabilities up to age 35 and 15 for non‑disabled children aged 6‑12 – and will run from 1 July to 4 September, Monday to Friday, 09:00‑14:00 at the Casa del Emprendedor. Registrations are accepted until 19 June via the town hall’s online form or in person.

Separately, the University of León announced its 2026 Summer Courses, a province‑wide series of academic, scientific, cultural and social programmes beginning mid‑June and continuing through July. Courses will be delivered in a network of venues, including the Vegazana campus, municipal centres, museums and cultural sites, covering topics such as eclipse observation, archival research, onco‑exercise, graphic communication for science, bacterial genomics, creative writing, drone photogrammetry, medieval studies, cinema and more. The initiative aims to bring university knowledge to urban and rural communities across León province.
