LOSC Lille poised for major transfer windfall
LOSC Lille is positioned to generate significant transfer revenue during the current summer window. The club is expected to receive approximately 130 million euros for midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who is set to join Manchester City. This figure would represent the largest sale in the club's history, surpassing previous major transfers of Victor Osimhen and Nicolas Pépé.
In addition to the Bouaddi deal, the club may earn up to 70 million euros from the potential sale of forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo, which could bring the total windfall from these two players to 200 million euros.
On the recruitment front, Lille's attempt to sign Feyenoord midfielder Gjivai Zechiël has reportedly failed. Feyenoord rejected a 10 million euro offer plus a percentage of a future sale, opting instead to offer the 22-year-old a contract extension to secure his long-term future.
