LOSC Lille signs Paraguayan goalkeeper Orlando Gill

LOSC Lille has officially signed Paraguayan international goalkeeper Orlando Gill from CA San Lorenzo. The 26-year-old has committed to a five-year contract that runs until 2031.

The transfer fee for the deal is estimated at 3.8 million euros for 50% of his economic rights. Gill, who gained international attention during the 2026 World Cup with Paraguay, is expected to serve as a backup to Berke Özer, providing depth to the squad for European competition.

In his first message to fans, Gill expressed his excitement about joining a competitive club, stating, “I am very happy to be here,” and concluding with “Allez, Lille.” He will wear the number 12 jersey.
