Lost Ark players lose gear after update; Amazon Games rolls back

A recent update to Lost Ark, intended to purge inactive guilds, mistakenly erased player accounts, removing equipment, inventory items, skins and pets. Hundreds of players reported the loss, prompting Amazon Games to advise affected users to avoid logging in while the issue was investigated.

After two days of troubleshooting, Amazon Games performed a rollback to the July 22 state, restoring most data. The company also confirmed it is preparing a compensation package, with rewards expected to be distributed next week.
