LOT Polish Airlines launches direct Warsaw–Bangkok flights
LOT Polish Airlines has introduced direct passenger services between Warsaw Chopin Airport and Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. The inaugural flight took place on October 7, 2026, marking the airline's return to scheduled operations between the two capitals after more than twenty years.
The route is operated using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The flight from Warsaw to Bangkok lasts approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes, while the return journey is estimated to take between 11 and 12 hours.
Currently, the service operates three times per week, with plans to increase frequency during the winter season to support tourism and commercial opportunities. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has welcomed the expansion, noting its potential to boost inbound tourism from Poland and Central Europe.
