Lota families receive technical aids through Chile Cuida program

The Ministry of Social Development and Family, through the Biobío Regional Ministerial Secretariat, has distributed 20 technical aids to families in Lota as part of the Chile Cuida National Support and Care System. These implements, which include wheelchairs, clinical beds, and anti-decubitus mattresses, are intended to improve the autonomy and quality of life for dependent individuals and their primary caregivers.

Regional Minister Daniel Manchileo stated that the government has increased the regional budget for Chile Cuida to over 5,700 million pesos. This funding is designed to support 4,966 dyads across 29 communes in the Biobío Region, providing specialized services and home care to strengthen the local care network.
