El Carmen de Viboral: Event cancellations and road closures announced

The Lotería de Medellín has canceled its ‘Bingo Millonario’ promotional event scheduled for October 4, 2026, in El Carmen de Viboral. The decision was made to show respect for the traditional Altar and San Isidro Fair, which draws large crowds of parishioners and farmers to the town's central plaza.

The lottery entity stated that it will reschedule its family activities in the municipality and will announce new dates for the promotional tour in the coming days.

Separately, the municipal administration of El Carmen de Viboral has announced a mobility plan and road closures for the upcoming XXXII Clásica Nacional de Ciclismo, also known as ‘La Grande de Antioquia’. The cycling event will involve significant traffic restrictions, including total closures of the main park and key routes between October 6 and October 7 to ensure athlete safety.
