Heroico Colegio Militar celebrates 50 years with special Lotería Nacional draw

Lotería Nacional held the Sorteo Zodiaco No. 1761 at the Heroico Colegio Militar facilities in Tlalpan to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the institution's current location. The event, which took place on September 20, 2026, was led by Olivia Salomón, Director General of Lotería Nacional, and Brigadier General Francisco Javier Zubia González, Director of the Heroico Colegio Militar.

To mark the occasion, 2.4 million commemorative tickets were issued featuring the image of the military academy. The ceremony served as a recognition of the institution's five decades of training military personnel under principles of honor, discipline, and loyalty. The academy had been located in Tlalpan since September 13, 1976, following its move from Popotla.
