A player won the Joker Category I jackpot on October 18, 2026, totaling over 10 million lei (approximately 1.87 million euros). The winning ticket was purchased online for 987.50 lei and utilized 123 variants through specific reduction schemes.

Additionally, the Lottery is organizing special autumn draws, including Loto 6/49, which features a jackpot rollover exceeding 2.9 million euros, and Joker, with a rollover of over 1.79 million euros. Prize funds for these special draws have been supplemented for Loto 6/49, Joker, and Loto 5/40.

In other news, the municipality of Târgu Jiu is set to host the 26th edition of the Romanian Lottery Cross on October 24. The event includes over 100 prizes valued at 30,000 euros and is supported by a 100,000 euro organizational fund from the Lottery.
