Loto 6/49: Record 52.8 million lei prize won in Oradea

A player in Oradea has won the largest prize in the history of the Loto 6/49 game. During the draw on August 13, 2026, a single simple combination ticket, purchased for only 8.50 lei, secured a jackpot of 52,839,623.04 lei, which is approximately 10.07 million euros.

The winning numbers were 45, 12, 13, 44, 36, and 37. This marks the second Category I win of 2026, following a previous jackpot of approximately 22.9 million lei in February. The winner has 90 days to claim the prize.

Due to taxation regulations, the winner will receive approximately 31.70 million lei after a 40% tax deduction, while the Romanian state will collect approximately 21 million lei from the winnings.
