Loto 6/49 jackpot reaches over 9.5 million euros in Romania

Loteria Română has announced a massive jackpot for the Loto 6/49 drawing on Sunday, August 9, 2026. The Category I prize has accumulated a rollover of over 50.06 million lei, which is approximately 9.53 million euros.

Several other lottery games are also seeing significant rollovers. The Noroc game has a cumulative rollover exceeding 3.85 million lei (over 733,700 euros), while Joker's Category I prize exceeds 3.41 million lei (approximately 650,600 euros). Other notable prizes include Noroc Plus at over 598,400 lei, Loto 5/40 at over 146,500 lei, and Super Noroc at over 349,200 lei.

The high stakes follow the previous Thursday drawings on August 6, where more than 22,400 prizes were awarded, totaling over 2.14 million lei. During those draws, no player managed to correctly guess all six numbers for the Loto 6/49 jackpot.
