Lotte Department Store launches premium VIP travel program

Lotte Department Store has introduced ‘Avenuel Global Trip,’ a premium overseas travel program designed specifically for its VIP customers. The service features one-on-one concierge planning and high-end experiences, such as luxury cruises via the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Initial offerings include an 8-night, 10-day Alaska expedition departing from Vancouver, focusing on glacier viewing and wildlife observation, as well as a 10-night culinary cruise through Japan and South Korea. Future plans include cultural and art-focused trips to Spain and Southern France.

To enhance the service, Lotte provides butler services from home to the airport and up to $1,000 in travel credits or gifts. Notably, purchases made through this program can be recognized as up to 100% of a customer's annual sales performance for VIP status, up to a limit of 100 million won. This strategy aims to increase loyalty among high-spending customers, who accounted for 45% of Lotte's total sales in 2024.
