Lotte E&C Le West complex wins Good Design Award bronze
Lotte E&C has received a bronze award at the 2026 Good Design Awards for the exterior design of its Le West complex located in the Magok MICE district of Seoul. The award, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and managed by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, recognizes excellence in design, functionality, and economic value.
The Le West complex is a large-scale multi-use development consisting of four blocks (CP1, CP2, CP3-1, and CP3-2) that include exhibition and convention facilities, the Coex Magok, the Mercure Seoul Magok hotel, officetels, senior residences, and commercial spaces. The design concept, ‘Urban Layer & Connectivity,’ utilizes horizontal structures for non-residential buildings and vertical elements for residential facilities to create a cohesive urban landscape using a palette of beige, gray, and blue tones.
In addition to the bronze award for the exterior, three other Lotte E&C projects received the Good Design (GD) mark: the ‘Jajak Lake’ garden at Wonju Lotte Castle Signature, the ‘Stardust’ artwork at Cheongdam Leel, and the community facilities at Magok VL Le West.
