Lotte Square Musashi-Urawa shopping centre to open July 28, 2026 in Saitama

The Lotte Group will launch the new mixed‑use shopping complex Lotte Square Musashi‑Urawa on 28 July 2026 at 09:00. The centre is located eight minutes on foot from the west exit of JR Musashi‑Urawa Station in Saitama’s Minami‑ku and replaces the former Lotte training‑facility site.

The anchor tenant is the Yaoko supermarket, occupying 2,067 m² and promoting a “delicious, trustworthy” shopping experience. Additional retailers include electronics retailer Nojima (opening in September), coffee shop Komeda, a medical clinic and other services. Lotte Square’s concept is described as “Everyone’s Plaza,” aiming to become a community hub where people of all generations gather.

The development follows the opening of the adjacent Lotte‑run sports school GODAI Musashi‑Urawa in October 2025 and includes parking with 90‑minute free rates for Yaoko shoppers.
