Lotte Wellfood launches fourth Choco Pie production line in India, aiming for 1 trillion‑won sales by 2032

Lotte Wellfood has started operating a newly built fourth production line for its Choco Pie snack at the Hariana‑Lot plant of its Indian subsidiary, Lotte India. The line increases the subsidiary’s annual Choco Pie capacity by roughly 33% and is part of a broader investment of about 300 billion won made in May 2024.

The company expects the expanded output to lift Indian Choco Pie sales by more than 20% this year and to help reach its “ONE INDIA” target of 1 trillion won in annual revenue by 2032. A Lotte Wellfood spokesperson said, “The fourth line will enable us to meet growing local demand stably and strengthen our leadership in the Indian confectionery market.”
