Lottery jackpots roll over in South Africa and Canada

Multiple lottery draws in South Africa and Canada resulted in jackpots rolling over following no top-tier winners.

In South Africa, the PowerBall and PowerBall Xtra jackpots for September 25, 2026, were not won. The PowerBall jackpot of approximately R61.5 million and the Xtra jackpot of approximately R17.5 million will both roll over, creating a combined rollover of over R79 million. Additionally, the Daily Lotto draw on September 24 saw no Division 1 winner for its R300,000 jackpot.

In Canada, the Lotto Max draw on September 25, 2026, also failed to produce a jackpot winner. The $60 million jackpot will roll over to a projected $65 million for the next draw. However, one Maxmillions prize worth $1 million was claimed by a ticket holder in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Several MaxPlus prizes were also distributed across the Prairies, Ontario, and Quebec.
