Lottery winner in Pocheon wins multiple top prizes

A resident of Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, has won both first and second-tier prizes in the 337th Pension Lottery 720+. The winner purchased a single set of tickets at a local retailer, resulting in one first-prize ticket and four second-prize tickets.

Under the pension lottery structure, the first-prize winner receives 7 million won per month for 20 years, while second-prize winners receive 1 million won per month for 10 years. Consequently, the winner will receive 11 million won monthly for the first 10 years and 7 million won monthly for the following 10 years, totaling approximately 2.16 billion won before taxes over a 20-year period.

The winner, who typically purchases small amounts of lottery tickets weekly, reported waking up their spouse to share the news. No specific plans for the winnings have been announced yet.
