Lottery winners claim $2 million and $1 million prizes in Illinois and Michigan

Two women in the United States have recently won significant top prizes through state lottery scratch-off games.

In Illinois, a woman known as ‘Lady Luck’ won a $2 million top prize on a $20 Maximum Multiplier Instant Ticket. She purchased the winning ticket at ZJ’s Pantry Plus Liquors in Des Plaines. The winner expressed plans to invest in a new home and take a vacation to New York City. The retailer will receive a $20,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

In Michigan, a 58-year-old woman from Kent County won $1 million on the $1,000,000 Bonus Scratch Multiplier game. She purchased the ticket at Aikan Liquor in Kentwood and opted to receive the prize as a lump sum of approximately $693,000. Two $1 million prizes remain unclaimed in that specific game.
