Lottery winners claim major jackpots in United Kingdom

A lottery winner from the London Borough of Lewisham has claimed a £5,844,340 Lotto jackpot. The winning ticket was purchased for the September 26 draw, matching all six main numbers. The identity of the winner, whether an individual or a syndicate, remains undisclosed. Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, is currently conducting a formal validation process to ensure compliance with Games Rules and Terms and Conditions before the prize is handed over.

In a separate win, five neighbors in Cowes on the Isle of Wight shared a £1 million People’s Postcode Lottery prize. One winner, Abbie West-Long, received £333,332 and plans to relocate to Canada. Other winners in the group received £166,666 each, with recipients including local business owner Mary Bowdery and school cleaner Suzie Wheatley.
