Lotto-Intermarché extends contracts for three Belgian riders
Lotto-Intermarché has announced the contract extensions of three Belgian riders: Luca Van Boven, Sebastien Grignard, and Milan Menten. All three athletes have signed new agreements that will keep them with the Belgian WorldTour team until the end of 2028.
CEO Jean-François Bourlart emphasized that retaining these experienced riders is vital for the team's strategy of developing younger talent. While the squad is undergoing a significant metamorphosis due to the departures of riders such as Arnaud de Lie, Lennert Van Eetvelt, and Georg Zimmermann, these extensions provide necessary continuity.
Luca Van Boven, 26, expressed confidence in the team, stating he feels valued and believes there is still room for him to grow and reach new limits within the squad. The team has also recently secured other riders, including Juan Sebastian Molano, Mauri Vansevenant, and Stan Dewulf, to bolster the roster.
