Lotus Eletre X competes in drag race against Ferrari and Lamborghini

The Lotus Eletre X, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) luxury hyper-SUV, participated in a drag race organized by carwow against two Italian internal combustion engine vehicles: the Ferrari Purosangue and the Lamborghini Huracán Performante.

The Lotus Eletre X features a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired with three electric motors, producing a combined 952 horsepower and 935 Nm of torque, despite a weight of 2,615 kg. The Ferrari Purosangue utilizes a 6.5-liter V12 engine delivering 725 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque, weighing 2,133 kg. The Lamborghini Huracán Performante is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 640 horsepower.
