Lotus Technology teams with Finloop and FOMO Pay on vehicle tokenization

Lotus Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: LOT) has entered a non‑binding memorandum of understanding with Finloop Finance Technology Holding Limited and Singapore‑based payment institution FOMO Pay. The three parties will cooperate on technical aspects of digital‑asset issuance, tokenization of real‑world assets, and compliant blockchain‑based payment models for the luxury mobility market. Finloop will contribute its FinRWA Platform expertise in real‑world asset tokenization, while FOMO Pay will provide cross‑border digital‑payment infrastructure spanning Southeast Asia, the Greater Bay Area, and the Middle East and North Africa. Lotus Technology, which designs and engineers premium electric vehicles in the UK and China, aims to assess how tokenised assets and on‑chain settlement can add value to its vehicle offerings. The specific commercial terms and implementation remain subject to further negotiations and definitive agreements.
