Austrian singer Louie Austen will celebrate his 80th birthday on 19 September 2026 with a special concert at the Vindobona venue in Vienna. The event, billed as the “Louie Austen 8.0 Birthday Concert,” will feature his Jazzkapelle and the premiere of his new vinyl LP Simply the Best, a live recording from his 2025 Jazzfest performance.

The show will include a multimedia presentation titled “The Musical Life of a Lucky Star,” and a guest appearance by singer Loredana Iadicicco, adding a Mediterranean flair to the evening.
