Deutschland Tour: Magagnotti wins Stage 2 as Barré leads

In the second stage of the Deutschland Tour 2026, 19-year-old Italian Alessio Magagnotti of the Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe development team secured his first professional victory by winning a mass sprint in Offenbach an der Queich.

French rider Louis Barré of Visma-Lease a Bike maintained his lead in the general classification. Despite the rainy conditions, Barré holds a six-second advantage over Mexican favorite Isaac del Toro, who finished second in the stage and secured bonus seconds to narrow the gap.

Del Toro, representing UAE Emirates-XRG, remains in second place overall and continues to lead the points and youth classifications. The competition moves toward more mountainous terrain in the upcoming stages.
