Louis Lemke suffers tooth fracture during HSV victory

During Hamburger SV’s 1-0 victory against VfB Stuttgart at the Volksparkstadion, 17-year-old defender Louis Lemke sustained a partial tooth fracture. The injury occurred in the 13th minute during a sideline challenge when Stuttgart winger Bilal El Khannouss accidentally struck Lemke in the face with his boot studs.

HSV team physician Dr. Götz Welsch provided immediate on-pitch treatment, allowing the young left-back to continue the match. Following the game, Lemke reported that he was not experiencing acute pain but confirmed he would be seeking dental consultation to address the damage. Lemke expressed gratitude for the trust shown by his coaches during his recent starts.
