Louis Munteanu and Alex Mățan record stats in MLS

Romanian footballers Louis Munteanu and Alex Mățan have recorded recent offensive contributions in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Louis Munteanu scored for DC United in a 3-1 loss against Charlotte FC. His goal, which opened the scoring in the 55th minute, ended a scoring drought dating back to May 24. Munteanu has now recorded six goals and two assists for DC United this season.

Alex Mățan, playing for St. Louis City following a stint in Greece, also recorded his first offensive contribution since returning to the league, providing an assist during his recent appearances.
