Louis Vuitton expands Le Damier fine jewelry collection

Louis Vuitton has expanded its Le Damier fine jewelry collection, introducing eight new pieces that utilize the brand’s iconic Damier pattern. Originally created in 1888, the checkerboard motif is translated into jewelry through geometric gold forms and diamond settings.

The new additions include five ear pieces, such as large hoop earrings in yellow, white, and rose gold, as well as single and double ear cuffs. The collection also features a yellow gold chain bracelet and a substantial two-row cuff containing 120 diamonds totaling 2.8 carats.

A notable new item is an adjustable sliding pendant necklace designed to be worn as either a standard necklace or a bolo-style tie. The pieces maintain a unisex approach, emphasizing flexible styling and handcrafted construction, with artisans assembling individual links by hand to ensure flexibility and a smooth fit.
