Louis Vuitton Norway revenue falls 5% as full 2025 profit sent to France
Louis Vuitton's Norwegian subsidiary reported 2025 revenue of 330.3 million kroner, a 5 % decline from 347.5 million kroner the year before, and a profit of 68.1 million kroner.
The board proposes to distribute the entire profit as a dividend to the parent company, Louis Vuitton Malletier in France, leaving the Norwegian entity with only about 4.95 million kroner in equity (roughly 1.5 % of turnover). The subsidiary employs 29 staff and paid 19 million kroner in wages.
The downturn mirrors a slowdown for LVMH, the world’s largest luxury group, which posted first‑half 2026 revenue of €38.3 billion, down 4 % year‑on‑year, while rival Hermès reported growth. Bernard Arnault remains chief executive of LVMH.
